Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Mounte.

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mounte, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Service Description

Mounte is an execution runtime for on-chain trading strategies. You describe a strategy in plain language; Mounte compiles it into a fixed, bounded program, validates it against a fixed set of checks, and — once you explicitly arm it — runs that program automatically against live market data until it stops, you stop it, or a safety limit halts it.

Mounte does not select assets or strategies for you, does not exercise discretion over your funds, and does not decide when you should trade. The program executes only the rule you authored and armed. Mounte does not curate, recommend, rate, rank, or approve strategies.

Our services are provided 'as is'. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, execution at any particular price, or the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data. Cryptocurrency markets are volatile and data may be delayed or incomplete.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, contain false information, or that we are required to restrict under applicable law.

You are responsible for determining whether your use of Mounte is lawful in your jurisdiction, and for any tax consequences arising from activity you authorize.

4. Non-Custodial Architecture and the Trade-Only Key

Mounte is non-custodial. Your funds remain in a wallet you control. Mounte does not take custody of your assets, cannot withdraw or transfer them to itself or to any third party, and cannot access your root credentials or seed phrase.

To execute the strategy you arm, Mounte holds a trade-only key scoped by policy to a restricted set of actions — swaps routed to allowlisted venues, with the destination bound to your own wallet. That key cannot be used to move your assets to any other destination.

You may revoke the trade-only key at any time. Revocation stops further automated execution. You remain the sole root authority over your wallet at all times.

You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and root credentials. Mounte is not liable for losses resulting from compromise of credentials under your control.

5. Automated Execution and Your Authorization

Arming a strategy is an explicit authorization for Mounte to execute that specific compiled program automatically, without asking you again before each transaction, until it terminates or you stop it.

You set the limits that bind it, including position size and loss limits. Mounte enforces those limits and will refuse to start, or halt an armed strategy, when its own safety checks fail — including stale market data, failed reconciliation between on-chain state and its records, or a breach of the limits you set.

Automated systems can fail. Execution may be delayed, partially filled, or not occur at all due to network congestion, venue conditions, oracle failure, infrastructure faults, or defects in the software. A halt is a safety behaviour, not a guarantee against loss.

You are responsible for the strategy you author and arm, including whether its logic is sound for your objectives.

6. No Advice and No Performance Representation

Mounte does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and does not act as a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary. Nothing on this platform is a recommendation to enter into any transaction.

Mounte makes no representation, projection, or guarantee of any investment result, return, yield, or performance outcome. Any figures shown in product materials or documentation are illustrative of how the system works and are not a track record, a forecast, or a promise of results.

Past performance does not guarantee future results. You should consult qualified professionals before making investment decisions.

7. Risk Disclosure

Trading digital assets involves substantial risk, including total loss of the funds you commit. Only commit funds you can afford to lose entirely.

Risks include, without limitation: market volatility and adverse price movement; slippage and failed or partially filled transactions; smart contract defects or exploits in venues, routers, or other protocols your strategy interacts with; oracle or price-feed failure or manipulation; blockchain network congestion, reorganization, or outage; defects in Mounte's own software; and loss of access to your wallet credentials.

Safety limits reduce certain risks. They do not eliminate them and cannot guarantee that a strategy exits at any particular price or avoids loss.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Mounte for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. This includes but is not limited to: market manipulation or trading on unlawfully obtained information; attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems; interfering with the proper functioning of the platform; circumventing safety limits, arming controls, or usage restrictions; using automated systems to scrape or collect data; impersonating others or providing false information; and engaging in any activity that could harm other users or the platform.

You may not use Mounte to manage assets on behalf of third parties, or to offer a pooled investment product, without our express written agreement and any authorization required by applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Mounte are owned by Mounte and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of our platform without explicit written permission. You retain ownership of the strategies you author.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mounte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits, or lost opportunity, resulting from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of Mounte shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Termination and Revocation

You may stop using Mounte at any time. Revoking the trade-only key ends further automated execution; positions already open remain yours to manage.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Mounte, with notice where practicable, for breach of these Terms or where required by law. Where we suspend access, we will not prevent you from revoking the trade-only key or accessing your own wallet.

All provisions of these Terms which should survive termination shall survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Mounte shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
